Arc Human Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our team in the Washington Area!

Full Time Block Shifts Available!!!!!

Up to $3,500 Sign On Bonus for Full-Time Hires!!!

Starting rate $17.50/hr. plus $2.50/hr weekend shift differential and $5.00/hr for holiday shift differential when applicable.

• DSP 1 - plus $1.75/hr
• DSP 2 - plus $0.75/hr
• DSP 3 - plus $0.75/hr

Summary:

Direct Support Professional (DSP) ensures the health and safety of program participants by providing varying levels of personal care within a community home setting including cooking, cleaning, transportation, community engagement, dispensing medications, supporting goals, and accurate documentation of care. This position is responsible for assisting in the development of independent living skills, behavior strategies, self-advocacy and prepares participants to become more independent in their homes and communities.

Qualifications

• Experience helpful, but not necessary- Complete PAID training provided

• 18 years of age or older

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Valid PA Driver's License

• Candidate will need to have the ability to pass background checks, physical, TB (ALL company paid!) - must regularly lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
