Alliance Steel, Inc. is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team. If you are knowledgeable as a production equipment electrician, mechanic, or a multi-skilled technician, you could be the right fit for us! Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To:
- Receive work orders, identify faulty equipment, and acquire parts and equipment to complete repairs
- Repair of production equipment from basic hydraulic equipment to complex CNC machinery, performing both electrical & mechanical work
- Repairing critical equipment, performing preventive and predictive maintenance, and completing projects such as mechanical and electrical hardware and software upgrades
- Communicating accurately any repair steps taken, parts ordered, and time estimated until completion
- Participating in daily shift meetings, prioritizing, and reviewing work orders
- Responsible for keeping work areas clean
- Any other duties assigned by your supervisor
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience with advanced PLC, and/or VFD, and/or CNC repair
- Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power & control systems
- Experience troubleshooting overhead cranes
- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot & perform electronic, mechanical & hydraulic repairs
- Basic Microsoft Office knowledge desired
- Must be able to use basic hand tools & specialized tools as appropriate
- Able to lift and carry products and/or equipment of up to 50 lbs.
- Mid to High level break-fix & preventative maintenance experience required
