Position Summary Maintains facility and sales floor safety and standards; ensures the Tire and Battery Center (TBC) sales floor is organized, stocked, zoned, and merchandised according to company policies; presents and maintains merchandise; monitors tire and battery orders; provides expert member service and recommendations; drives sales and service excellence; triages service workflow; demonstrates knowledge of safety and compliance protocols; leverages technology to enhance operations; serves as a brand advocate; provides products and services to members; complies with company policies; completes work assignments and priorities; supports a culture of belonging; models integrity; serves customers and members; strives for excellence; follows TBC and Point‑of‑Sale guidelines. Responsibilities Maintain safety on the facility and sales floor, conduct safety sweeps, and follow forklift and hazardous material handling requirements. Organize, stock, zone, and merchandise the TBC sales floor; handle claims, returns, shrink, and damages. Stock merchandise, set up displays, clean, and organize product displays; remove damaged goods; sign, price, and secure fragile and high‑shrink items. Monitor tire and battery orders daily, assist members with appointment scheduling, communicate lead‑time changes, and provide alternative suggestions. Provide expert member service, greet members, identify needs, assist with purchasing and service decisions, and resolve concerns. Communicate the value of merchandise and services to promote member awareness of TBC offerings. Triage and prioritize service workflow in TBC service bays; refer to Sam’s Garage for waiting members and prioritize appointments to maximize efficiency. Demonstrate knowledge of safety, compliance, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, seasonality, POS systems, phone, and in‑person selling techniques. Leverage technology and handheld devices to plan sales, improve service experience, make real‑time business decisions, and encourage adoption of new tools. Advocate the brand by modeling high‑quality service and products, influencing team members, and assisting in training. Operate TBC equipment properly and safely; receive, store, and dispose of merchandise and supplies; complete vehicle service requests and tests. Process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges using appropriate procedures. Implement company policies, procedures, ethic and integrity standards; use the Open Door Policy and apply it in business processes. Complete work assignments by using policies, data, resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and opportunities for improvement. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications : valid state‑issued driver’s license; 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications : auto service industry experience; retail experience. Compensation Hourly wage range: $19.00 to $27.00. Actual hourly rate may equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location.
