Pharmacy Technician - Norfolk, VA

Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Pharmacy Technician role is available in Hampton, VA, specializing in Retail and Long Term Care settings for a contract period from June 22 to July 29. This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to patient care by accurately distributing prescribed medications and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include:

Distributing medications prescribed by physicians and other licensed health practitioners
Providing customers with information about their medications and proper usage
Ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Virginia Pharmacy Technician License is required
Experience in Retail and Long Term Care environments is highly preferred
Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential
