We are seeking a researcher and developer to build the spatial AI systems behind Fitasy’s footwear customization and personalization. You will turn 3D scan data and customer preferences into reliable, automated workflows that connect digital design with manufacturing.

Job Responsibilities

· Develop software and algorithms to process 3D foot scans, point clouds, and meshes, including cleaning, alignment, registration, measurement, and geometric transformation.

· Build spatial AI systems that translate foot geometry and customer preferences into personalized footwear designs and manufacturing-ready outputs.

· Develop, build, and integrate state-of-the-art AI models and tools to automate workflows and improve development speed, accuracy, and reliability.

· Prototype ideas, design experiments, and validate results using real scan and product data; turn promising research into maintainable software.

· Work with design and manufacturing teams to integrate, test, document, and improve the end-to-end customization workflow.

Job Requirements

· Strong programming skills in Python or another relevant language, with experience developing, debugging, testing, and maintaining software.

· Experience processing 3D data and working with spatial geometry, coordinate systems, and transformations.

· Practical knowledge of AI and machine learning, with the ability to select, adapt, integrate, and evaluate models for real applications.

· Ability to use modern AI coding and research tools effectively while checking the quality and correctness of their outputs.

· Strong problem-solving skills, independent execution, and clear communication. Preferred experience includes computer vision, 3D reconstruction, geometric learning, generative design, or CAD automation.

Training and Support from Fitasy

· Onboarding to Fitasy’s scanning technology, footwear design requirements, and customization and manufacturing workflows.

· Collaboration with Fitasy’s technical, product, and manufacturing teams to test ideas on real footwear challenges and connect research with physical products.
