Intelligent Office Tysons Corner — Venture X Northern Virginia / DC Metro About Us This location is operated as Intelligent Office Tysons Corner , part of the same ownership group as our Venture X locations in Frederick, Fairfax, Brambleton, and Ashburn. Together, Intelligent Office and Venture X provide premium, membership-based coworking space on flexible terms across the DC-metro area. Each location is professionally run and internationally connected, creating office communities that are professional, inspiring, diverse, and collaborative — places that become so much more than shared office space, where members and businesses launch, expand, and belong. About the Position The Member Experience Associate (MEA) is the heartbeat of the Venture X community — the first face members and guests see each day. This role goes beyond front desk support: it's about curating a warm, professional, and memorable experience at every touchpoint. This is a floating position based out of Intelligent Office Tysons Corner. Beyond the home location, this MEA travels to cover other Northern Virginia / DC-metro Venture X locations when the regular team member there is out sick or on approved PTO (see Location & Travel below). The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment, takes genuine pride in hospitality, and adapts quickly to a new location and team. This position reports to the Community Manager of Intelligent Office – Tysons Corner and is not eligible for remote work. Location & Travel This is a floating position based at Intelligent Office Tysons Corner (Venture X). In addition to the home location, this MEA is scheduled to cover the following Venture X locations when their regular Member Experience Associate is out sick or on approved PTO: Venture X Brambleton Venture X Ashburn Additional locations as needed in DMV area Coverage assignments are communicated as far in advance as possible, though same-day coverage for unplanned absences should be expected occasionally. A reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license are required. Mileage reimbursement: Mileage driven to and from a covering location (beyond the normal commute to Intelligent Office Tysons Corner+) is reimbursed at the current IRS standard mileage rate. Normal commuting mileage to the home base location is not reimbursed. Job Responsibilities Greet all members and guests who enter the office Answer phone calls and respond to missed calls Attend to member requests at the front desk and elevate as needed Monitor the location email account and respond in a timely manner Keep common areas clean and tidy Observe and track inventory Stock and restock the café/kitchen Run the dishwasher and put clean dishes away daily Wipe down counters and tables at regular intervals and as needed Refresh furniture and decor with the team as needed Virtual Office and Mail Oversee Virtual Office member services Handle inquiries, leads, and sales related to Virtual Office Maintain documentation for all Virtual Office members Sort and distribute mail Update the Postal Mailbox (PMB) log report weekly Sales, Tours, and Bookings Enter new lead data in HubSpot (confirming details of automated message data) Assist in scheduling tours Maintain daily awareness of space and meeting room bookings Communicate with clients to pay and confirm booking invoices Assist in tracking and moving events, meeting room bookings, and Virtual Office leads through the HubSpot pipeline Update the booking page daily each morning Events Manage amenity space bookings (event space, day office, day pass, and meeting/conference room bookings) Collaborate with the team on monthly Venture X events Coordinate, set up, and break down Venture X and member events as needed Clean up after events For after-hours events, collect information and share with the Community Manager for approval or decline Communication, Social Media, and Training Collaborate with the team on all communications Record and send event/space media in SharePoint for Social Media approval Assist with training new staff, as applicable Because this is a floating role, responsibilities at each covering location follow that location's own routines and priorities — the Community Manager or on-site lead there will orient the MEA on arrival. Requirements Friendly, professional, energetic, self-motivated 2–3 years of experience in a hospitality and/or customer service setting highly preferred Office or facilities experience a plus Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, required — this floating role regularly travels between Tysons Corner, Frederick, Fairfax, Brambleton, and Ashburn Comfortable adapting quickly to a new location, team, and routine on short notice Able to work onsite daily, Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm Flexibility to work after-hours events and/or weekends preferred High school diploma or GED, required Bachelor's degree preferred Basic knowledge of virtual mail preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office highly preferred Proficiency in Canva, Yardi, and HubSpot preferred Ability to lift 50 pounds Notary public, optional Compensation & Hours Salary Range: $45,000–$50,000 annually. Additional financial incentives, bonuses, commissions, and raises are available in addition to base salary. Mileage reimbursement for travel between covering locations, at the current IRS standard mileage rate (see Location & Travel).
