Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner - Emergency Department - PRN

Role The Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) provides compassionate, timely care to sexual assault victims, including medical-forensic exams, prophylaxis, documentation, and referrals for medical and psychological follow-up, as well as participation in legal proceedings. Responsibilities Conduct non-judgmental assessments, perform forensic documentation, support victims through medical and legal processes, and ensure appropriate follow-up care. Qualifications Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), hold a valid and current RN license, and possess or be in progress of SANE certification (to be obtained within 6 months if not certified). TNCC certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire. Experience Two years of Emergency Department or Acute Care experience preferred. Skills Compassionate communication, forensic knowledge, ability to work variable shifts, and night shift availability as needed for program coverage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
