Resident Assistant - Part-time, evenings

The Resident Assistant supports the Activity Director in assessing, selecting, organizing, and implementing recreational services to address the individualized needs and interests of the residents.Essential Duties & Responsibilities1. Interact with residents and families2. Assist with all non-care duties such as passing water, linens, gowns, making beds3. Engage residents on a one-to-one basis and in small and large groups4. Flexible and patient with residents5. Organize and lead activities6. Strives to implement new activities7. Assist transporting residents to and from activities and meals8. Assist in dining room by taking orders, clearing tables, and helping residents to and from dining room9. Prepare or bake snacks with residents and prepare snack cart10. Assist with transport of residents to and from all areas of the facility11. Work individually and as a team12. Deliver mail and newspapers to residents13. Lead exercise groups14. Help residents to look their best and help maintain dignity and respect15. Posting daily activity signs and handing out daily Chronicles16. Assist with all non-care duties such as passing water, linens, gowns, and making beds if time allows17. Perform activities as scheduled/assigned within your shift18.
