Job Description
ROLE - SPECIALTY
Sonographer - Vascular Ultrasound

SCHEDULE
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 143 weeks

REQUIREMENTS
- Registered with ARDMS or CCI for vascular ultrasound
- General vascular certification (RVT or RVS)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide mobile ultrasound services to various healthcare facilities, including nursing homes and home care settings.
- Perform and process ultrasounds using portable sonographic equipment, ensuring images are diagnostically competent.
- Check and verify patient orders for accuracy against exams listed in patients' charts.
- Ensure patient identification by asking for two patient identifiers.
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch, peers, and facility staff.
- Ensure the maintenance of sonographic equipment and vehicle.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Vaccination against COVID-19 is required, with exemption options subject to documentation.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and provide documentation as required.
- Must successfully pass background checks and drug screening.
