Job Title: Motor Vehicle Representative Department: Department of Motor Vehicles - San Francisco Field Office Salary: $3,745.00 - $5,429.00 per month (minimum for full‑time; intermittent may vary) Final Filing Date: 7/3/2026 Responsibilities Perform cashiering, data entry, and verifications related to driver licensing, vehicle registration, and occupational licenses. Provide verbal, written, and technical assistance to customers in a courteous and efficient manner. Maintain compliance with DMV policies, procedures, and security requirements. Handle cash transactions and perform related financial responsibilities accurately. Assist with issuance of identification cards, driver licenses, and related documents. Promote a positive customer experience and resolve customer inquiries and complaints. Ensure dependent tasks and scheduling comply with the intermittent work schedule (up to 1500 hours per fiscal year). Desired Skills & Characteristics Can‑do attitude toward colleagues and customers. Working Conditions The position is intermittent. Scheduled hours vary and are capped at 1500 hours per fiscal year, with possible increases under approved circumstances.
