Job Summary

We are seeking a Pediatric RMA, Registered Medical Assistant, for a temp-to-hire opportunity in a pediatric clinic setting in Greensboro, NC. This role is ideal for a compassionate, detail-oriented medical assistant who enjoys working with children and families while supporting physicians and clinical leadership in delivering high-quality patient care.

The Pediatric RMA will work in a collaborative clinical environment where teamwork, professionalism, patient confidentiality, and continuous learning are highly valued. This opportunity offers stability, hands-on pediatric experience, and the potential to grow with a supportive healthcare team that values positive communication, accountability, and quality care.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare patients for well and sick visits by reviewing medical records, collecting symptoms, taking vitals, documenting in the EMR, and updating immunization records.
- Assist physicians with patient care by collecting specimens, performing ordered treatments, administering medications and immunizations, and following standing orders and protocols.
- Identify and report high-acuity symptoms or patients in distress to the physician immediately while following established emergency and clinical guidelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation in medical charts, immunization registries, and electronic health record systems to support compliance and continuity of care.
- Follow OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA, infection control, respiratory illness, PPE, and patient confidentiality policies at all times.
- Keep exam rooms, clinical work areas, supplies, patient materials, and records organized, clean, and ready for daily patient flow.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $21 to $22 per hour.
- Employment type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: Greensboro, NC.
- Schedule may include evening or weekend work.
