About the Role:
East Medical Transport LLC is looking for a dedicated and compassionate EMT/Driver to join our growing team in Rock Hill, SC. This is your opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives while building a rewarding career in non-emergency medical transport.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport patients to and from medical facilities, appointments, and care centers
- Operate ambulance or transport vehicle in compliance with traffic laws and company safety standards
- Assist patients with loading, unloading, and transferring using stretchers .
- Document patient information, care provided, and transport details accurately
- Maintain cleanliness, stocking, and readiness of transport vehicles and medical equipment
- Communicate effectively with other teammates and facility personnel
Requirements:
- Current EMT certification (EMT-Basic or higher) in the state of South Carolina
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Prior experience in medical transport, EMS, or a related healthcare field preferred
- Strong patient care skills with a calm, professional, and empathetic demeanor
- Ability to lift and assist patients, including physical demands of the role
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts (day) including some weekends+
- Must be able to pass drug test on hire and thereafter randomly
- Professional attire and good personal hygiene
