Specimen Processor- Full Time- 3rd Shift

Labcorp seeks a specimen processor for its Englewood, Colorado laboratory facility, working third shift (8:00 PM–4:30 AM, Monday–Friday with rotating Saturday). The role involves preparing, routing, labeling, and shipping biological specimens while maintaining accuracy and meeting production targets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and route to staging areas
• Unpack, identify, label, and pack specimens for shipment to testing facilities
• Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information
• Properly prepare, store, and manage excess specimen samples
• Resolve and document problem specimens while meeting department production goals

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Comfortable handling biological specimens with attention to detail
• Ability to accurately identify and label specimens
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and pass color blindness test
• Prior laboratory, medical/clinical, or healthcare industry experience preferred

Compensation: $18.88–$22.22 per hour plus 3rd shift differential
