Practice Supervisor

Supervises the day-to-day administrative and clinical area of assigned staff. Ensures established patient care, and operational/employee policies are upheld and maintained. Leads or mentors lower level team members. Responsibilities Oversee and maintains the provider's schedules ensuring daily staff schedules/coverage is appropriate for clinic visits. Exercises supervisory controls for employees related to time and attendance and work assignments. Coaches, trains and evaluates staff, monitors compliance and spot checks staff performance. Ensures clinic staff is in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Reviews reports and assists staff with understanding the significance of the report information. Performs primary medical functions and directs patient care. Assesses staffing needs, maintains masterwork schedule, and makes staffing recommendations to management. Maintains inventory of all clinic supplies. Performs all other duties as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge of service delivery protocol and treatment standards. Ability to give and receive feedback, both informally and formally. Ability to provide a high standard of record keeping. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated critical thinking skills. Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office. Education High School diploma or GED is required. EXPEREINCE: Three (3) years related experience is required. Required Skills Three (3) years related experience is required. This position may require the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure per Texas EO-GA-48.
