Village Caregiving - Lexington Caregiver Opportunity

We are hiring for Lexington, Frankfort and surrounding counties. We have flexible shifts to accommodate everyone. Village Caregiving - Lexington is seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide quality care and support to our elderly clients. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily activities, promoting their overall well-being, and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily activities such as grooming, dressing, bathing, and toileting
• Provide medication reminders
• Help residents with mobility and transferring as needed
• Plan and prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
• Provide companionship and engage in social activities
• Monitor and report any changes in health and behavior to the appropriate supervisor
• Follow all policies and procedures in compliance with state regulations and Village Caregiving - Lexington standards

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant experience in caregiving, healthcare, or a related field preferred but not required, we provide paid training!
• Paid CPR training will be provided
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor
• Ability to work independently and multitask effectively
• Have reliable transportation
