Process Excellence Coach

As a Process Excellence Coach, you will play a pivotal role in inspiring and influencing team members across the organization by championing advanced processes and data-driven initiatives. You will collaborate with leaders at all levels, helping to shape and impact our future. This position is key to fostering our culture which is focused on innovation, operational excellence, and delivering to our members' most critical needs.


Location - East Hartford, CT Hybrid

Hours - Fulltime

Compensation - $80,000+ (depending on experience, education, aptitude & equity)

You play a key role in training and mentoring others on Six Sigma principles, techniques, and methodologies.

Role-Specific Contributions:

1. Continuous Improvement
   • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
   • Stay updated with the latest Lean and Six Sigma trends, tools, and best practices.
   • Encourage the adoption of innovative approaches to enhance process performance.
2. Training and Mentoring:

• Train and mentor Green Belts and other team members on Lean and Six Sigma principles and techniques.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
• Provide guidance and support to project teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Design and facilitate process management training for department leaders.

1. Project Management:

• Serves in a consultative manner to senior leaders and other members of management in the areas of data analysis, process, and alignment.
• Lead and manage process improvement projects from initiation to completion.
• Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Track progress and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

• Change Management

• Manage change initiatives related to process improvements.
• Address resistance and facilitate smooth transitions during process changes.
• Ensure that changes are effectively communicated and implemented.
• Comfortable influencing without formal authority.

Managerial Responsibilities:

The position has no direct reports but is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of assigned project teams.

Education and/or Experience:

This role requires Subject Matter Expertise and the ability to provide mentorship, guidance and training to other team members This level of expertise is generally attained with eight years in a previous process improvement role and a Bachelor's degree.
