Schedule / Hours:

• 10-hour day shifts; 06:30-17:00, four days per week
• Weekend: 1-2 weekends within a three-month period
• On-Call: 3-6 days within a three-month period
• Holidays: As needed based on unit requirements

Qualifications:

• Valid KS RN or compact nursing license
• AHA BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of Operating Room experience in general surgery, robotics, ortho, GU/GYN, ENT, or plastics
• New graduates are not accepted for this assignment
• Ability to attend in-depth hospital-specific orientation
• Willingness to uphold a nicotine-free work environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional perioperative patient care
• Circulate or scrub as required for a wide variety of surgical procedures
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons and the multidisciplinary team
• Ensure compliance with EMR documentation (EPIC system)
• Participate in required orientation, training, and continuous improvement activities
