Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.

Shift Details

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Must work at least every other holiday

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients in the emergency department.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Monitor patient conditions and provide updates to healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in the emergency room specialty.
• Current Ohio nursing license or compact state license required at the time of application.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.
• Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TNCC) certification preferred.
• Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment during orientation, with acceptable scores required.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
