What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care at the Colorado Springs location
• Deliver outreach services at rural clinics in Lamar and Trinidad (up to 6 days/month), supporting underserved communities
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses and social workers, to ensure high-quality patient care
• Participate in clinical quality improvement initiatives and patient-centered programs
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and care coordination
• Engage in a supportive, physician-led system focused on innovation and collaboration
• Share limited call responsibilities within the group

What You Need

Required:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
• Valid medical license to practice in Colorado
• Strong communication skills and commitment to equitable cancer care

• Passion for rural medicine and outreach-based care
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
• Dedication to serving diverse and underserved populations

About the Assignment

This full-time role is with a prominent Cancer Care and Hematology team at UCHealth, based in Colorado Springs, serving both an urban and rural patient population. The physician will be integral in delivering expert hematology and oncology services, with outreach support to rural Colorado communities, ensuring access to world-class care for all patients.
