Board-Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP)

We are seeking a Board-Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our growing Neurosurgery team at St. David's South Austin Medical Center. This is an inpatient-only position providing comprehensive care to neurosurgical patients alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team. New graduates are encouraged to apply. We welcome motivated ACNP graduates with strong inpatient clinical training and a passion for neurosurgery.

Position Highlights

• Inpatient-only Neurosurgery practice
• 7-on/7-off schedule
• No call responsibilities
• Join a collaborative team of two Advanced Practice Providers supporting inpatient neurosurgical care
• Opportunity to work closely with experienced neurosurgeons, trauma team

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient rounding and management of neurosurgical patients
• Conduct consultations, admissions, and daily patient assessments
• Provide follow-up care for established and postoperative patients
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement treatment plans
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning
• No operative time or first assist experience required
