Sr. Instructional Designer & Trainer

Senior Instructional Designer and Trainer at a biopharmaceutical manufacturing site responsible for developing GMP and job-specific training programs across multiple functions. The role emphasizes standardizing training delivery, conducting needs assessments, and designing blended learning solutions while supporting compliance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments and performance gap analyses to identify training requirements
• Design and develop training content including instructors' guides, presentations, CBT, and web-based programs
• Establish training metrics, track KPIs, and evaluate program effectiveness using appropriate instruments
• Facilitate classroom training sessions on compliance topics such as GDP, safety, and operational basics
• Manage LMS administration including class creation, employee registration, score entry, and work instruction reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any field; business or related field with relevant work experience acceptable
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in training, instructional design, or related field
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and ability to apply them effectively
• Experience in biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, or similar manufacturing environments
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to engage across organizational levels
• Proficiency in problem-solving, prioritization, and independent work with minimal supervision
