Registered Nurse – Emergency Department Observation Clinical Evaluation Sign On Bonus Potential: 10,000 Location: Randallstown, MD Patients in this space are evaluated for discharge or movement to our observation unit for extended care, or converted to inpatient awaiting movement to an inpatient floor. Orientation occurs on the homeunit observation 2A. It is expected that there could be floating to observation 2A or into the ED for Medical Boarder Support. Job Summary As a member of the patient care team, the RN provides safe, age‑appropriate patient care and functions as an advisor and resource for patients and their families. Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients for discharge or transfer to observation or inpatient facilities.
• Provide safe, age-appropriate care to all patients.
• Serve as a patient and family advisor and resource.

Requirements Maryland Registered Nurse License American Heart Association BLS/CPR Certification Keywords RN Registered Nurse Nurse Critical Care Observation Additional Information 12 Bed Semiprivate Bay Style Unit. The RN will work in a 12‑bed unit providing observation care with progressive responsibilities toward patient discharge or inpatient transfer.
