Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst
We are seeking a Senior BI Analyst to lead the design and delivery of advanced analytics solutions that drive strategic decision-making. This individual will develop robust data models, datasets, and dashboards, while mentoring team members and promoting data-driven best practices across the organization. The ideal candidate is both a hands-on data expert and a trusted business partner who can translate complex data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities
Data Strategy & Insights
- Design, build, and optimize data models and interactive dashboards in Tableau to support executive and operational decisions.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of large datasets to uncover business trends, opportunities, and performance drivers.
- Translate findings into clear, impactful insights for senior leadership.
- Ensure BI initiatives align with overall business strategy and objectives.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data, primarily from Snowflake.
- Oversee data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure integrity, scalability, and efficiency.
- Serve as a Snowflake subject matter expert, guiding the use of the platform for enterprise analytics.
- Partner with business units to define KPIs and deliver BI solutions that address key challenges.
- Act as a strategic advisor to executives, providing actionable, data-backed recommendations.
- Mentor junior analysts, fostering continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence or analytics, working with large and complex datasets.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL Development
- Experience with Salesforce reporting and CRM Analytics.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to present technical insights to executive audiences.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with keen attention to detail.
- Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field.
- Background in insurance, financial services, or another highly data-centric industry.
- Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics.
- Expertise in data storytelling and visualization best practices.
