Job Summary Candidate will provide Clerical and Administrative support to the Sales Department to include typing correspondence, creating and maintaining spreadsheets, copying, filing, assembling documentation, while working and communicating effectively with employees and all levels of management. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. One (1) year of office/Clerical and Administrative experience in a business office. Essential Functions Good practical knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Must be able to type 40 wpm. Must have excellent proof reading, spelling, filing, and grammar skills. Must have good organizational and time management skills. Must have excellent phone and communication skills, and able to express oneself clearly and persuasively. Must be able to interact with all levels of management and handle all work confidentially. Must be exact and precise providing accurate detailed information. Must be able to make decisions within scope of authority. Must be regular in attendance and able and willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime. Will handle miscellaneous duties as assigned. Non-Essential Functions Organize filing systems (both soft and hard copies) for record keeping and maintaining current libraries and databases as required. Essential Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Required to sit for extended periods of time; frequently traverse the building and use business equipment daily such as computers, copier, fax, and telephone, etc. Telephone usage will be approximately 20-30% daily. Requires the ability to communicate effectively. Requires lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling light weights up to 30 pounds. Requires bending, reaching and use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. Must have neat business like appearance. Must be able to travel as required and have a valid drivers license. Must be able to use public transportation, i.e.: plane, train, bus, etc. Must disclose any surgical implants, pins, braces or other devices that could be affected by induction fields.
