We invest in our employees and build relationships that last.Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time position available for a Construction Services Supervisor in our Washington, DC; Maryland; or Virginia office locations.Responsibilities Include* Managing and mentoring staff, including assigning work and monitoring work quality* Leading construction inspectors on materials testing and inspection procedures* Conducting, coordinating, evaluating, and recommending training to develop staff skills* Assisting the Department Manager with staffing resource allocation and business planning* Providing project management and supervision for CEI projects* Managing business development opportunities and client relationships* Ensuring transportation group and M&H policies/procedures are maintained and followedA valid driver’s license and travel will be required.The Successful Candidate Must Have All The Following* Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college or university* At least 3 years of relevant engineering experienceOR* Associate degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college or university* At least 5 years of relevant engineering experienceOR* If no degree, must have at least 7 years of relevant engineering experience.The Ideal Candidate Will Have Any/all Of The Following* PE license in MD, DC or VA* Ten (10) years of industry-related experience* Construction Manager (CCM) Certification* Experience supervising and mentoring staff* Experience with construction site quality control and quality assurance, claim reviews, and reviewing change orders* Experience with cost estimates and project scheduling* Experience preparing proposals and managing contractsIf you have strong communication and organizational skills, are self-motivated, and can work well both independently and as part of a team, complete the online application process for this job posting at & Hunt proudly offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, paid sick leave, parental leave, a 401K plan with a generous company match, life and disability insurance, and an employee assistance program.Mead & Hunt will not sponsor a visa (H-1B, etc.) for this position.Salary Range: $115,000 to $145,000 annually - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set, or location.All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply and will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected veteran status, disability, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin. #J-18808-Ljbffr
