Behavioral TechniciansHourly Rate: $21.00 – $26.00 per hourLocationSan Francisco, California; OnsitePosition SummaryAs a Behavioral Technician, you will provide direct behavioral, academic, and classroom support services to students with IEPs within a school-based setting. This role is well-suited for experienced Behavioral Technicians, Paraprofessionals, and Behavior Interventionists who are passionate about supporting students with behavioral and developmental needs in educational environments. Responsibilities include implementing behavior intervention strategies, supporting classroom routines, assisting with personal care needs, and collaborating closely with teachers and BCBAs to promote student success. At RCM Healthcare Services, we're passionate about connecting talented professionals with the right opportunities – join our network and be supported every step of the way.ResponsibilitiesSchedule / ShiftShift details: School-day schedule, Monday–FridayHours per week: Full timeContract length: School-based assignmentKey DutiesSupport students in achieving goals outlined within their IEPs and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)Assist with classroom routines, academic support, and behavior management strategiesProvide one-to-one and classroom-based support services to students with behavioral and developmental needsAssist with personal care needs including toileting, diapering, feeding, and mobility support as neededAccurately collect, document, and report student behavioral and academic progress dataUtilize CPI de-escalation strategies and implement safe physical interventions when necessaryCollaborate with teachers, school staff, and BCBAs to support student successParticipate in trainings, meetings, and additional duties as assignedRequirementsEducationRequired: Must meet one of the following: Passing score on the Paraprofessional (ParaPro) ExamCompletion of 48 college credit hoursAssociate's degree or higherLicenses & CertificationsAdditional certifications: CPI Certification preferredSkillsComfortable working with students with behavioral and developmental support needsAbility to follow direction and collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and BCBAsStrong communication, teamwork, patience, and empathy skillsKnowledge of ABA strategies and behavior intervention techniquesAbility to assist with lifting, physical prompting, and safety interventions as neededBenefitsPer Diem / Temporary (Hourly) RolesComprehensive benefits that include medical, dental, and visionCompany-paid Basic Life/AD&D and Long-Term Disability for employees working 30+ hours/weekPaid sick leave may be available based on hours worked and state lawsBenefit offerings are subject to legal requirements, eligibility status, and work locationEmployees 21+ can participate in the 401(k) Savings PlanAbout UsRCM Healthcare Services works with professionals across schools, healthcare, and community-based settings nationwide.
