Bring your talents to the forefront as you provide a Watercrest culinary experience! Providing a variety of quality, fine dining recipes that enliven the senses of our residents, associates, and guests.Essential job functions:Servant leadership directs all aspects of decision makingConducts meal preparation, service, and clean-up in accordance with nutritional guidelines, regulations, and prescribed resident dietsKnowledge of proper use of all cooking appliancesAssist with maintaining emergency food suppliesCommunicate with all culinary vendorsEnsure presence in the dining room for resident satisfactionAssists in providing adaptive equipment for residents when necessaryEnsures food service is presented in an attractive, gracious, and timely mannerEnsures dishes, cooking utensils, and pots and pans are stored properlyDo pre-preparation for meals later in the day, week, or weekend or for special eventsReports to the executive chef any equipment and supplies that are neededProvide a high level of culinary customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphereMaintain a safe, sanitary, clean, and organized cooking areaMust be in company uniform and resident ready at all timesEducation requirements:High school diploma or GEDSERV Safe (required)Experience requirements:Two (2) years' experience in professional food serviceA culinary apprenticeship or training is preferred
