When responsibility calls, you're ready to lead.These are the qualifications that matter:High school diploma or GED preferredMinimum 3 years of industrial, machine, or auto body painting experience requiredExperience using paint sprayers, mixers, brushes, and other painting equipmentAbility to mix paints, primers, and coatings according to specificationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to troubleshoot painting and finish quality issuesForklift experience preferred for transporting finished partsAbility to work safely with paints, chemicals, and required PPEStrong communication skills and dependable attendanceAbility to lift 40–50 lbs consistently and up to 70 lbs occasionallyAbility to work in enclosed paint booths and perform overhead painting tasksJob Duties:Prepare, prime, and paint parts and equipment according to company and customer specificationsApply paints and primers while maintaining high-quality finish standardsMix paints and prepare surfaces by sanding, degreasing, and cleaning materialsOperate and maintain paint sprayers, mixers, paint booths, and related equipmentMonitor paint inventory and request additional supplies as neededTransport finished parts to assembly or stock using a forkliftInspect painted parts to ensure color, finish, and quality requirements are metMaintain a clean, organized, and safe paint booth and work areaDocument and track paints, lacquers, thinners, and other coating materialsAssist with assembly operations as neededFollow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE while working with chemicalsSupport additional production duties as assignedWhy This Job?
