Position Summary: Based in Huntington Park, CA the Masker will perform essential job functions as directed under close supervision. Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to the following.

• Accurately prepares work for selective copper plate by masking areas to be heat treated with nylon tape and/or stop-off compounds.
• Reads and determines work instructions
• Immediately brings any unusual problem, irregularity or concern to Heat Treater, Foreman/Lead Person or management.
• Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
• Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
• This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
• Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism.
• This position will allows for cross training and development of additional skills

• This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder. (Keep if ITAR Plant or Remove in non-ITAR)
• Education – High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have knowledge of basic math.
• May be required to work overtime or any shift, including weekends.
• Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
• Must be detailed oriented as the role requires painting with small brushes.

Physical & Mental Demands: The following physical and mental demands consist of, but are not limited to the following.

• Must be able to work in a sitting position for extended periods of time in an industrial environment
• Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions
• Ability to bend, pull, stoop and reach to perform functions
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
• Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions
• Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing

Pay & Benefits Information The hourly pay for this position is $18.50 per hour. Starting pay is determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with state and federal law. This role is eligible for additional compensation, including shift differential, etc., if applicable. Benefits eligibility begins on day 61 of employment.
