What you need to Succeed

• Approximately 2-3 years of professional marketing experience in a business environment.
• Strong marketing project-coordination skills, including experience managing multiple deadlines, deliverables, stakeholders, status updates, and follow-through.
• Approximately 1-2 years of hands-on experience supporting business social media, including content scheduling, publishing, and performance monitoring.
• Approximately 1-2 years of hands-on experience supporting business email marketing campaigns.
• Comfort working with digital content and learning basic website/CMS processes; previous website publishing, experience is not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with careful attention to copy, links, dates, assets, and brand consistency.
• Comfort working with marketing performance data and basic campaign metrics.
• Working knowledge of common business and marketing tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva, social publishing tools, email platforms, or similar systems.
• Ability to work full-time on-site at FreeCast Orlando-area office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with Jira, Asana, Monday.com, content calendars, or another project/workflow management system.
• Experience with Iterable or another email/lifecycle marketing platform.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, campaign tracking, or social/email reporting tools.
• Experience in streaming, media, technology, entertainment, or another fast-moving digital business is a plus.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Marketing Project Management & Campaign Traffic

• Serve as the day-to-day traffic coordinator for marketing work, helping move projects from request and brief through review, approval, launch, and follow-up.
• Maintain the marketing calendar and project tracker, including priorities, owners, due dates, status, dependencies, approvals, and next steps.
• Translate approved marketing priorities into clear execution plans and written briefs so each project has the information needed to move forward.
• Coordinate handoffs across design, video, digital, content, product, sales, partners, and other contributors; follow up on open items and keep work moving between teams.
• Proactively identify schedule risks, missing assets, approval needs, and blockers, and elevate issues to the Vice President of Marketing before they affect launch timing.

Social Media

• Support and maintain FreeCast social content calendars across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, Threads, and YouTube, as appropriate.
• Draft, edit, schedule, and publish platform-specific social copy based on approved campaign messaging and brand direction.
• Coordinate creative assets for posts, Reels, Shorts, Stories, carousels, partner collaborations, and repost
• opportunities.
• Support partner tagging, collaboration requests, and co-marketing activity while helping confirm assets and usage approvals are in place.
• Monitor basic channel performance, including reach, engagement, clicks, and content trends, and summarize observations for the marketing team.

Email Marketing

• Help build, traffic, QA, schedule, and monitor email campaigns using Iterable or a comparable email marketing platform.
• Coordinate subject lines, copy, creative, links, calls to action, audience segments, test sends, and campaign approvals.
• Support list segmentation, A/B testing, UTM/link tracking, and basic campaign optimization.
• Maintain the email marketing calendar and help ensure scheduled sends align with broader campaign and content priorities.
• Track open, click, and conversion performance where available and share actionable observations with marketing leadership.

Website Digital Content

• Assist with simple website content changes such as copy, images, links, or campaign information, and coordinate technical page requests with the appropriate digital or development resource.
• Perform basic page checks before and after publication, including link accuracy, content accuracy, and general visual review across desktop and mobile.
• Learn FreeCasts website and CMS processes over time; previous website publishing experience, coding, web development, and advanced SEO knowledge are not required.
• Additional Marketing Support
• Support marketing materials such as presentations, one-pagers, campaign recaps, and partner-facing assets.
• Conduct light market, competitor, audience, and campaign research as needed.
• Assist with reporting and documentation so marketing activity, results, and next steps remain visible and organized.
• Provide additional day-to-day marketing support as priorities evolve in a fast-moving growth environment.

FAST Channel Explanation

The Marketing Coordinator is the day-to-day project coordination and traffic hub for FreeCast marketing efforts. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing, this role helps move initiatives from request through launch by coordinating timelines, deliverables, approvals, creative assets, and follow-up across social media, email marketing, website content, and other marketing channels.

This is an execution- and project-management-focused role for someone who is highly organized and comfortable managing multiple workstreams.
