Job Details Duration: 6 months contract W2 Pay Rate: $24-$34 hourly Location: Arlington VA, Hybrid or Remote - EST Schedule RESPONSIBILTIES: Enter and maintain contract and payment terms in Company rights and royalty systems. Ensure the quarterly reporting process, payment calculations and distribution statements are accurate, complete, and delivered to meet contractual obligations. Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve any processing or reporting errors in a timely manner. Utilize and maintain cross-functional ticketing system to ensure royalty related tasks are tracked and completed in required timeframes. Coordinate workflows to process, prepare, publish, pay, and deliver distribution statements each quarter. Facilitate set up of vendors in accounting & royalty systems Serve as a liaison for internal and external inquiries related to royalty statements and payments. Prepare ad-hoc royalty and sales reports as requested by stakeholders. Maintain documentation of internal workflows and business processes. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. WORK EXPERIENCE: 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in intellectual property or media 2-4 years of experience with royalty (preferred), contract, or rights management software such as Alliant, Vistex, RightsLine (a must) Experience with a project management or ticket tracking systems, such as Jira EDUCATION/TRAINING: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience SKILLS: Knowledge of the media or publishing industry and royalty management Ability to read and interpret contracts to identify and understand business terms Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and organization skills Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects simultaneously Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex tasks Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Intermediate Excel skills, such as V-lookups and pivot tables; advanced Excel skills preferred Estimated Min Rate : $23.80 Estimated Max Rate : $34.00 What’s In It for You?
