Supply Replenisher Associate I – Sacramento, CA – Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM This position supports the implementation of lean supply management principles within the BU Laboratory network, including materials/supplies movement and replenishment to point‑of‑use in the laboratory. The Associate performs cycle counts and daily replenishment routines, interacting with laboratory staff and supply analysts to assure material availability. Pay range: $20.44–$30.65 per hour. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and applicable certifications, with consideration of market and organizational factors. Eligible candidates may also receive an annual performance bonus. Participate in internal work teams focused on continuous improvement of supply replenishment processes to reduce cost and cycle time. Conduct regular physical inventory and cycle counts to assure accuracy of on‑hand inventories. Maintain visual management tools (e.g., Kanban) and mistake‑proof initiatives (labels with photos). Qualifications Work experience (required): 1–2 years experience in manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, or supply chain. Physical and mental requirements: Ability to lift 50 lb. Knowledge: Knowledge of inventory control systems is desired. Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff. Efficient planning and organizational skills. Good math skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in Excel, Word, Visio, and similar software.
