This is a hybrid work opportunity.Responsibilities:Champion user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design across assigned projects, ensuring intuitive, seamless end‑to‑end user journeysAdvocate for UX/UI vision by effectively communicating design intent, rationale, and standards to cross‑functional project teams and stakeholdersLead stakeholder and user interviews to uncover business needs and user requirements, facilitating whiteboarding and collaborative ideation sessionsTranslate user insights into personas, journey maps, information architecture, user flows, task analyses, wireframes, high‑fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypesConduct and manage design reviews, feedback sessions, and user testing to validate solutions and ensure alignment with user needs and expectationsApply Tax Design System standards consistently and collaborate closely with UI developers to ensure accurate, accessible, and high‑quality implementation, while continuously exploring opportunities to integrate AI into the UX/UI workflowAct with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environmentQualifications:Minimum three years of recent experience designing intuitive, engaging websites or applications with a strong focus on usability and user‑centered design principlesBachelor's degree in from an accredited college/university Design, HCI, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; High School diploma or GED requiredDemonstrated ability to clearly articulate design concepts, direction, and rationale to diverse stakeholders through strong interpersonal and communication skillsStrong understanding of accessibility standards and best practices, with proven experience designing inclusive and compliant user experiences High proficiency with industry‑standard design and collaboration tools, including Figma, FigJam, Mural, Miro, and Office 365Solid conceptual understanding of backend technologies and development practices, enabling effective collaboration between design and engineering teamsRequired to maintain an online portfolio showcasing representative UX/UI work that demonstrates design expertise, problem‑solving approach, and creative executionKPMG LLP and its subsidiaries (“KPMG”) complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
