Job Summary and Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented, friendly, and communicative Medical Office Front / Back Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. This individual will be responsible for providing general front and back office support to our medical office staff including answering phones, filing, rooming patients, and processing insurance authorizations. This role requires excellent communication skills, computer skills, and being a team player. Familiarity with medical software such as Epic is preferable.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
- Familiarity with medical software such as Epic is highly desirable.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance communication with diverse patient populations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical administration or related field is an advantage.
