Oncology Sales Representative - Nashville, TN

Merck seeks an Oncology Sales Representative to cover the Nashville, Tennessee territory. The role involves engaging healthcare providers, educating stakeholders about oncology products, and driving sales growth within an assigned geography. Field-based position requiring travel to customer sites and national conferences.

Responsibilities

• Attain or exceed assigned sales goals through territory coverage and customer engagement
• Build relationships with key stakeholders to understand practice structure, business models, and clinical needs
• Communicate patient-centered product rationale using approved messaging and resources
• Analyze purchasing trends and drug distribution patterns across oncology channels
• Develop short- and long-term strategic plans in collaboration with local team and district manager

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years sales experience, or high school diploma and 8+ years equivalent professional/healthcare experience
• Valid driver's license with ability to drive regularly
• Willingness to travel 10-15% overnight and visit customers in-person
• 2+ years oncology field sales experience (preferred)
• Clinical knowledge of solid tumors and genitourinary/renal cell carcinoma (preferred)
• Strong account management, CRM, and data analysis capabilities
• Knowledge of complex healthcare buying environments and drug distribution channels
