IMLC Welcome - Locums - Midland, Michigan, OB/GYN Hospitalist Job

Clinical Role:• Do you know someone that might be a good fit for this position? Please ask about our generous referral fees!• Locum job opening• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible OB/GYN• Inpatient only hospitalist opportunity• 24-hour call coverage• Please only submit candidates available for the listed dates• Shift hours: 7am-7am• Primary call requires provider to remain onsite for the full 24-hour shift• Call rooms available onsite• Midwives provide overnight L&D coverage from 7p-7a• Provider only contacted by midwives if assistance is needed• Secondary call may be taken from the hotel, but provider must check in onsite each morning at 7am

Coverage Dates:

June (secondary)

• 21

July (all primary):

• 19,25, 26, 27

August (all primary):

• 3, 4, 19, 20, 21

Orientation/Proctoring:• One business day orientation required• Includes Employee Health, EPIC training, and coding education• Proctoring completed through active clinical cases• Required proctoring:• 2 vaginal deliveries• 2 C-sections• 2 minor GYN procedures• 2 major GYN procedures

Clinical Responsibilities:• Labor & delivery coverage• Circumcisions preferred but not required• D&C procedures• Emergency GYN surgeries• ED coverage• Read NSTs• Tubal ligations• Laparoscopy• Inpatient rounding and call coverage

Clinical Support:• Three PAs onsite• Midwives cover L&D overnight• No APP supervision required

EMR:• EPIC with Dragon dictation

Requirements:• Completion of ACGME or AOA approved OB/GYN residency• Board certified or truly board eligible• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and fetal heart monitoring required• Must have 50 deliveries within the last 12 months• Must have 25 GYN procedures within the last 12 months• Michigan license preferred• IMLC candidates welcome• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days
