Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

Our client is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to support daily inbound and outbound material flow in a precision manufacturing facility. The role focuses on accurate receiving, ERP transactions, packaging, labeling, carrier coordination, and warehouse organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily shipping and receiving activities
- Receive and verify materials against purchase orders and packing slips
- Inspect incoming material for accuracy and visible damage
- Enter receipts and inventory movements into the ERP system
- Label, track, and route materials to appropriate jobs and travelers
- Package and prepare outgoing shipments
- Create packing lists, bills of lading, and related documentation
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers
- Communicate material status to Planning, Quality, and Production
- Maintain organized locations for raw material, work in process, and finished goods
- Maintain packaging supplies
- Support end-of-month shipping volume
- Maintain traceability and documentation
- Keep the shipping and receiving area clean and organized
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic ERP or inventory-system experience
- Forklift experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- One to three years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience
- Aerospace or manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO quality systems
- Basic inventory and material-tracking knowledge
$18.00-$24.00 per hour.
