In Your Day-to-Day, You Will
- Develop and own the SEO strategy for each client account, covering local SEO, technical SEO, content recommendations, and AEO/AI search opportunities
- Personally manage a portfolio of 5–10 client accounts, including local SEO and technical SEO audits, GBP optimizations, citation cleanup, and reporting
- Manage the SEO Specialist and SEO Assistant, including assigning work, reviewing deliverables, and coaching
- Establish and maintain QA standards across all SEO deliverables produced by the team
- Lead SEO strategy calls with clients and translate performance data into clear, business-focused narratives
- Support the Sales team with site analysis and SEO audits for prospects
- Own the SEO scorecard and oversee monthly and quarterly client reporting
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards and surface portfolio-level insights
Skills You Have
- 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, including at least 2 years managing or mentoring SEO team members
- Advanced local SEO strategy and implementation skills
- Advanced Google Business Profile management at scale (multi-location)
- Advanced technical SEO fundamentals (site architecture, indexation, schema, Core Web Vitals)
- Advanced Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console
- Advanced experience with third-party SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog)
- Strong team management and people development skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
Skills That Will Make You Stand Out
- Agency experience
- Experience in tree care, home services, or another local-service-business industry
- Intermediate to advanced AEO / AI search optimization experience (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity)
- Experience with Looker Studio / Data Studio and Google Tag Manager
