We are seeking a Quality Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day activities of a manufacturing Quality Inspection team. This position will be responsible for leading inspectors, supporting quality issues, and ensuring products meet customer and engineering requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support Quality Inspectors across multiple shifts
- Assign daily work and ensure proper inspection coverage
- Train, coach, and develop Quality team members
- Review blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements
- Support final, receiving, and first-piece inspection activities
- Oversee CMM/GMM and precision measurement inspection
- Support calibration, metrology, and gauge control activities
- Assist with MRB and nonconforming material
- Support First Article Inspections (FAI)
- Develop and improve inspection plans and processes
- Support new product and program launches
- Communicate and escalate quality issues as needed
- Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams
- Identify opportunities to improve inspection efficiency and product quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, Mathematics, or related field
- 6+ years of Quality or Inspection experience within manufacturing
- Previous Quality or Inspection leadership experience
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
- Experience with precision measurement and inspection equipment
- Strong knowledge of AS9100
- Experience with First Article Inspections
- Experience with CMM/GMM, metrology, calibration, and gauge control preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- ASQ or other Quality certifications are a plus
