Sign‑on bonus of $12,000.00 is available for experienced RN's (1+ years of ED experience required). Important Details Signing Bonuses are paid out in three payments. You will receive your first payment (one third of the total amount) upon completion of the first 30 days of employment. You will receive the second payment upon completion of six (6) months and the third payment (final of the total amount) due upon completion of one year following your start date. The bonus payments will be paid on the next regular pay day following the date on which you become eligible for the bonus. All payments are subject to applicable taxes. Full time status at LHMC is considered for the schedules greater than or equal to 30 hours per week; part‑time is 20‑29 hours per week. Roles less than Full‑Time will be prorated. Please note, per diem employees are not eligible for the signing bonus. To Be Eligible Current and former BILH candidates – restrictions apply. Employees within the BILH system are not eligible for the bonus or if you have been employed by a BILH entity within the last 12‑months. If you leave Lahey Hospital & Medical Center before your first anniversary you will pay back the signing bonus. A Staff Registered Nurse: Tertiary Care demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide expected standards of care based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, educational, spiritual, safety and age‑appropriate considerations of patients. The Staff Registered Nurse: Tertiary Care is expected to and is accountable for providing safe patient care by demonstrating organizational skills that maintain and coordinate safe delivery of quality care for assigned patients/families. Develops a culturally competent plan of care that identifies patient problems, expected outcomes, and addresses preventative measures. Performs systematic patient and family assessment relevant to practice settings. Delivers care that is specific to the age of the patient. Evaluates effectiveness of care and adapts plan based on patient/family response. Professional Relationship The professional relationship is based upon Lahey Clinic’s guiding principles and positive effective communication. This relationship extends beyond formal assessment to integrate the particular patient’s response and his/her religious/spiritual, ethnic and cultural beliefs into the plan of care. Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduate of a state approved and/or accredited School of Nursing Current license to practice professional nursing from the Massachusetts Board of Registration BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Experience None Pay Range $37.00 - $95.37 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
