Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing therapists the flexibility to engage with clients via telehealth. You will be equipped with the necessary digital tools and platforms, fostering a seamless communication process with both clients and colleagues. Our organization believes in work-life balance, and while standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, we offer flexibility to accommodate patient needs and schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine clients’ needs and formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Employ a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.

• Lead psychoeducational workshops to provide clients with valuable insights into common mental health issues, fostering a community of support among participants.

• Work in collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety and stability.

• Educate clients regarding their mental health conditions, potential treatment options, and community resources available for further support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with professional regulations.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders, evidenced by the ability to employ various therapeutic modalities effectively.

• Demonstrated capability in conducting mental health assessments and creating impactful treatment strategies.

• Previous experience delivering therapy to diverse populations, focusing on inclusivity and cultural competency.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills that allow for building rapport and trust with clients.

• Adherence to professional ethics, maintaining sound judgment and boundaries within the therapeutic relationship.

• Competence in using electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

Preference will be given to candidates with a proven track record in both individual and group therapy settings, as well as those who have facilitated psychoeducational sessions.
