Wellness Nurse, LVN

The Wellness Nurse is a licensed RN or LVN responsible for coordinating resident care and medication management under medical supervision to promote residents' independence. They work on scheduled days off of the Health Services Director to provide consistent licensed medical coverage seven days a week. Key duties Communicating with healthcare professionals Coordinating medical, dental, vision, hearing, and podiatry care Administering medications and treatments Supporting Medication Technicians Conducting resident assessments Documenting care in compliance with policies and regulations They monitor resident health, communicate updates to physicians and staff, oversee medication orders, and manage medication storage and delivery. Qualifications A valid California nursing license Proficiency in MS Office and office equipment Knowledge of assisted living and dementia care The ability to work patiently with seniors Additional requirements Obtaining First Aid and CPR certifications Passing background and health screenings Adhering to safety protocols, including potential COVID-19 precautions #J-18808-Ljbffr Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association
