Litigation Associate Attorney- Mass Tort & Product Liability

Location- Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)

Tucker Ellis LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Mass Tort and Product Liability practice in our growing Los Angeles office. This position offers a hybrid schedule and an opportunity to work alongside an award-winning trial team on complex, high-stakes litigation.

About the Role Due to the continued growth of our practice, we are looking for an associate with 4-7 years of experience in mass torts or product liability litigation. In this role, you will gain hands-on trial experience working with a nationally recognized trial team that has successfully defended Fortune companies in some of the country’s most challenging venues.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and analysis for case strategy
• Take and defend depositions
• Participate in all stages of trial preparation, including discovery, witness preparation, and courtroom advocacy
• Assist in developing case strategy and client counseling
• Handle court appearances and argue motions as needed
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on complex litigation matters

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• 4-7 years of experience in mass torts and/or product liability litigation preferred
• Might be willing to consider candidates with experience in other defense litigation practice areas within the 4–7-year range
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• Experience drafting motions, taking and defending depositions, and handling discovery
• Trial experience or interest in trial work is a plus
• Admitted to practice in California

Salary Range:

Starting range is at $210,00 + per year, depending on years of experience and qualifications. Actual compensation will be negotiable based on factors including experience and skill set.
