About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Vice President for Real Estate Development in the Mid-Atlantic region. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all phases of the commercial real estate development process, from market analysis and pre-development to project execution, financing, and leasing. This role demands a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the regional market, strong financial acumen, and the ability to manage complex, multi-jurisdictional development processes. The EVP will be expected to establish and execute the regional development strategy, identify and underwrite viable opportunities, and ensure the successful delivery of projects across various asset classes. Essential qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, 15+ years of experience in commercial real estate development, and a proven track record of executive-level leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of professional relationships, exceptional negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to represent the company effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities also include team leadership, outreach to industry professionals, and maintaining the company's regional profile. The EVP will work closely with internal teams, including construction management and asset enhancement, and will be expected to function as a senior leader and ambassador for the company in the Mid-Atlantic region. A proactive, resourceful, and results-oriented approach is essential, as is the ability to anticipate risks, develop creative solutions, and drive projects forward. The role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to operate with a strategic perspective while maintaining executive-level accountability.
