Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities Using 3D BIM software for design, coordination and plan development of mechanical piping and air systems Preparing reports and studies related to mechanical systems Selecting, specifying and estimating costs of mechanical equipment Performing load calculations and/or energy analysis Conducting periodic construction site inspections Other tasks as assigned. Required Qualifications A bachelor's degree (or higher) in mechanical or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university At least four years of relevant mechanical engineering experience PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states A valid driver's license, about 25% travel, and entrance onto military bases and airports will be required for this position. Ideal Candidate Experience Leading mechanical design of building projects Designing supply, return, and exhaust systems Performing load calculations and/or energy modeling Revit Designing plumbing systems Experience or familiarity with generative AI-driven tools, platforms, or systems (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, Chat GPT, Claude, Gemini) to enhance productivity, automate tasks, and reduce errors Locations Denver, CO; Madison, WI; West Allis, WI (Greater Milwaukee Area); Dallas, TX; San Diego, CA; Sacramento, CA; or Tampa, FL.
