Quality Control (QC) Inspector

Location: Maple Grove, MN

Pay: $25–$30 per hour

Shift: Mon–Thurs 6:45 AM–4:00 PM, Fri 6:45 AM–12:00 PM

Job Summary:

We are looking for a careful and experienced Quality Control Inspector to check machined parts and make sure they meet quality standards. You will use measuring tools and machines to inspect parts and work closely with the team to fix any problems.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect machined parts during and after production to ensure quality.

• Use tools like Zeiss CMM machines, micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators for measurements.

• Read drawings and follow quality standards.

• Record inspection results and report any issues.

• Help maintain inspection equipment.

• Work with machinists and engineers to solve quality problems.

• Keep your work area clean and safe.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience inspecting parts in a machine shop or factory.

• Able to operate Zeiss CMM machines (Calypso software is a plus).

• Good at reading technical drawings and understanding measurements.

• Detail-oriented and able to communicate clearly.

• Can work alone or with a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

• Good hand coordination and vision for small parts.

You should be proficient in:

• GD&T
• Quality Inspection Experience
• Quality Control Experience
• Blueprint Reading
