Maintenance TechnicianIrvinton Village is seeking a Maintenance Technician.Responsibilities:Respond and complete residential service requests in a timely mannerPaint and pick up groundsResolve maintenance issues in the area of A/C, electrical, sheetrock repairs, plumbing and appliance repairPrepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvementsCleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areasProvide residents with outstanding customer serviceRequirements:At least 2 plus of onsite experiencePossess valid IdentificationFull-Time Position1–3 years of apartment or general maintenance experience preferredExperience with apartment turns and make-readiesBasic plumbing repair skills (toilets, faucets, disposals, drain clogs)Basic electrical repair skills (outlets, switches, light fixtures, GFCIs)Basic HVAC knowledge and troubleshooting experience preferredExperience repairing appliances (refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, microwaves)Skilled in drywall repair, painting, flooring, and general carpentryEPA Certification preferred or willingness to obtainCPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification preferred or willingness to obtainAbility to lift 50+ lbs. and participate in an on-call rotationAdditional Details Provided: This is a HUD property and very fast-paced environment.
