ABOUT OUR RADIOLOGY DEPARTMENT

The Radiology Department conducts approximately 25,000 imaging examinations each year, utilizing advanced equipment such as the Philips ingenuity 64-slice CT scanner, MRI, ultrasound, and Hologic 3D for mammography. Our CT and general x-ray services are available around the clock, while ultrasound and MRI services are provided on weekdays, with weekend ultrasound call coverage.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are in search of a skilled CT/Rad Tech who possesses outstanding customer service abilities.

• Cross-training in additional modalities and obtaining certification (as per the needs of the Radiology Department) is required, along with existing CT certification. Mammography certification is a plus.

• The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing routine, trauma, and intraoperative radiological imaging.

This role offers competitive compensation, along with the following differentials:

• Evening Shift: $3/hour

• Weekend Shift: $2/hour (in addition to any applicable Evening or Night differentials)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Successful completion of a formal radiological technology program from a CAHEA accredited institution and certification by the ARRT or an equivalent body.

• A current, unrestricted Vermont state license to practice radiologic technology.

• Proven competence as a licensed professional, demonstrating ongoing professional growth and development in the field of Radiology Technology.

• Maintains certification in the special modality of the Technologist.

• CT certification is required, while Mammography certification is highly preferred.

WORKING HOURS

The expected schedule includes shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM every Saturday and Sunday. The remaining 24 hours for the biweekly schedule may consist of eight-, ten-, or twelve-hour shifts, typically starting between 7 AM and 12 PM. Specific scheduling preferences and departmental needs can be discussed during the interview process.
Participation in a weekday evening/night call rotation may be required, with details available during the interview.

SIGN-ON BONUS AND RELOCATION SUPPORT

A sign-on bonus ranging from $6,000 to $15,000 (subject to applicable taxes, distributed in three payments) is available for this position! The bonus amount is determined by years of experience. Apply today, and our recruiter will provide more information!

Additionally, relocation assistance of $9,200 (subject to applicable taxes) is available for qualified candidates.
