Registered Nurse (RN) – Infusion As a Registered Nurse in our Infusion Unit at St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center® located in Roslyn, NY, you will provide direct nursing care for oncology patients, including chemotherapy and other treatments, perform assessments, educate patients and families, and follow departmental policies and safety standards. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care for specified patients, including supportive care and administration of chemotherapy, blood components, fluid and electrolyte replacements, and other oncology treatments as prescribed. Perform nursing assessments and triage of patient care needs for new and ongoing patients. Provide education and support to patients, families, and significant others; act as an information resource to students, health care professionals, patients, and the public. Follow established departmental policies, procedures, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned. Requirements Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration. Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Certification: Oncology Certification required; Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) required from the American Heart Association. Salary USD $54.48 - $82.03 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate and actual pay will depend on qualifications, skills, and experience. The salary listed does not include bonuses, incentive pay, differential pay, or any other compensation.
