- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM, Monday through Thursday
We are seeking skilled CNC Mill Machinists for a direct-hire opportunity with a well-established manufacturer located in central Lake County. This role is ideal for machinists with strong CNC milling experience who are comfortable with setup work and multiple control platforms.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts per specifications
- Perform machine setups, including selection of speeds and feeds (preferred)
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and job travelers
- Make basic program edits at the machine as needed
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Post-secondary certificate in machining or manufacturing (preferred)
- Experience with OSP controllers (preferred)
- Some experience with FANUC controllers (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with CNC mills
- 1 year of setup experience , including speeds and feeds (preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
- Stable, full-time, direct-hire opportunity
